News about Huntsville Pickleball
Pickleball will be available at Fern Bell from 9:15 am to 12:00 pm every Saturday morning, beginning March 4.
In order to continue Saturday play, we must have good participation.
Also to continue Tuesday and Thursday night play at Fern Bell from 6:00-8:30, we must have good participation.
Beginning today, There will be evening play every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Fern Bell.
All Club Members Please Plan to Attend.

The food at the Christmas party was delicious and everyone enjoyed visiting, and listening to the music.

Until further notice Saturday play is no longer available at Fern Bell Recreation Center.
Until further notice Sunday play is no longer available at Optimist Park.
Berachah Recreation Center will be closed November 7-11 for floor refinishing.
All Huntsville Recreations Centers will be closed on Friday, November 11, for Veterans’ Day.
If you usually play at Berachah on Monday, Wednesday, you are welcome to play at Brahan Spring or Optimist.
Remember:
Brahan Spring and Optimist courts are being taped Monday.
Brahan Spring court will be taped beginning about 8:30 a.m.. The court should be ready for play about 10:00 a.m.
Optimist court will be taped beginning at 10:30. (Because courts are being taped, playing time may be much shorter at Optimist)
Because Fern Bell and Optimist gyms will be closed October 31-November 7 and Brahan Spring gym will be closed November 1-7 for floor refinishing, Berachah and Max Luther have given the pickleball club additional hours of play.
If the times listed below are not convenient , you may play at Berachah or Max Luther whenever pickleball is scheduled.
If you usually play at Fern bell on Tuesday and Thursday, please play at Max Luther on Tuesday and Thursday from 12 p.m.-2 p.m.
If you usually play at Optimist on Monday and Wednesday, please play at Berachah on Monday and Wednesday from 12:30 p.m.-3 p.m.
If you usually play at Brahan Spring on Wednesday and Thursday, please play at Berachah on Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and at Max Luther on Thursday from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. PLEASE NOTE THAT BRAHAN SPRING GYM IS OPEN FOR PLAY ON MONDAY OCTOBER 31.
Everyone is welcome to play at Berachah on Friday, November 4, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

This Friday (07-Oct-2016) is partner night. You will play with the same partner for the evening. You may come with a partner or get a partner when you arrive. All are welcome.
The clinic on how to spin the pickleball, held at Brahan Spring Recreation Center, on Wednesday, September 14, was well attended and quite informative.

Where: Max Luther Recreation Center
When: Mondays and Wednesdays until further notice (beginning September 12)
Time: 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Instructors: Al Yancey and Tony Horn
Who can attend: Anyone who is a true beginner. Those who attend do not have to be pickleball club members.
if you are not a true beginner but know someone who is please encourage him or her to attend.
There is no charge.
