Senior Center Fund Raiser.

The Senior Center Fundraiser will be held on Saturday,  August 5,  2017 at the Jackson Center at 6:00 PM.

Member Only Event, Evening Pickleball, Alabama Senior Olympics.

Members’ Ladder League: Tomorrow, Sunday, March 20, 2016.  Come out and try a new format of Pickleball play.  We will be holding an introduction to Ladder Leagues.  This event is open to members at all playing levels.  Our plan is to try this for a few weeks on Sundays and make adjustments to the format as we are learning.  If there is enough interest, a ladder league could be implemented at most of our locations.  Please join us on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Optimist Park from 1:30 to 4:30pm.

Evening Pickleball:  We have been playing on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Fern Bell from 6:00 to 8:30pm since March 1st.  There is plenty of room for more participants of all playing levels.  Three Courts, little wait time.

2016 Alabama Senior Olympics Coming soon… Pickleball to be played on May 2nd and 3rd at the Trussville Civic Center.  Discounted registration fees are offered through the end of March… see website for further information: http://physicalfitness.alabama.gov/PDF/Final_1_Event_Registration_March_4.pdf

Outdoor Courts in Huntsville

Spring will be here soon…

Two Courts at Willow Park, located at 1928 Aftonbrae Dr. 35803.  It is visible from Bailey Cove Rd. SE,  just south of Weatherly Rd. but you have to get to it from Weatherly.

One Court located at California Street Park, 708 California St. 35801.  It is 3/4 mile north of Governor’s Dr. on the left.

Philpot Park, 1211 Philpot Avenue also has two courts (a couple of blocks from Optimist Park) just north of Oakwood Ave.
